A/ Mục đích, yêu cầu
- Học sinh hiểu được tầm quan trọng của tiếng Anh, từ đó học sinh chú ý học hơn đến môn này.
- Hiểu được nội dung cấu trúc của sách tiếng Anh 6.
II/ Giới thiệu môn học
1. Tầm quan trọng của Tiếng Anh.
Tiếng Anh ngày càng đóng vai trò rất quan trọng trong cuộc sống của chúng ta, LHQ đã chọn tiếng Anh là ngôn ngữ chính để giao tiếp quốc tế. Tiếng Anh còn là phương tiện để giao tiếp, buôn bán làm ăn với nước ngoài. Chính vì vậy muốn có một việc làm tốt thè cần phải biết tiếng Anh.
2, Nội dung cấu trúc sách tiếng Anh 6.
- Nội dung sách bao gồm các chủ điểm gần gũi với cuộc sống , sát thực với mục đích, nhu cầu và hứng thú của các em như là: chào hỏi, một số hoạt động ở trường, ở nhà, những diều mình làm.......
- Sách gồm 16 đơn vị bài học, những mục có đánh dấu (*) là dành cho học sinh khá, giỏi, phần ghi chớ (remember) là mục tóm tắt trọng tâm của bài.
3, Một số từ, câu tiếng Anh thông dụng được nói trong lớp.

I/ Warm up
- Ask the Ss to open the books and look at the first picture. Then Ask the Ss to answer the questions.
where are they?, how many people are there?, what are they doing?
II/ Checking the previous lesson
III/ New lesson
1, Listen and repeat.

Lead in: You are going to some Ss greet each other. Pay attension each sentence’s intonation.
- Ask the Ss to listen and read in chorus.
- Call some pairs to read aloud.
- Explain: “Hello” and “Hi” are used to greet each other, but “Hi” is more informal.
- Ask the Ss to use “hello” to greet each other.
- Call some pairs to read aloud.
- Ask the Ss to use “hi” to greet each other.
2, Practice.
- Ask the Ss to use “hello” to practice with their partners, use actions(T does first)
Call some Ss to practice in pairs aloud.
Ask the Ss to use “Hi” to practice with a partner.
Call some pairs to read aloud.
3, Listen and repeat.
- Ask the Ss to listen.

Ask the Ss to listen the 1st time.
Ask the Ss to listen the 2nd times and write their names in exercise books from 1 -> 4.
